ebook.jpgIf you ever want to learn anything about Photoshop, you should consider reading every Photoshop book written by Scott Kelby. I know I have.

He’s just released a new eBook (electronic book not in print) about Adobe’s new digital photography program, Lightroom. The Adobe Lightroom eBook for Digital Photographers is inexpensive ($22.49 or $17.49 if you get free membership to InformIT - use a free Gmail account since you’re bound to get spammed) and is very thorough. Since Lightroom does not currently come with a manual, this ebook is a great way to learn all of the little subtleties to the program. When the final version of Lightroom is released, you will surely have a head start on everyone else. It’s worth the $$$ if you plan to get and use Lightroom.

I’ve already read the book, so I have a head start on you.

bootcamp.jpgWell, believe it or not, Apple is officially endorsing dual-booting computers. This means that in future versions of Mac OS X, starting with 10.5 (Leopard), Intel-based Macintoshes will be able to boot up into Mac OS X or (hold onto your hat), Windows!

Today, Apple released a beta program called Boot Camp. With this program installed onto Intel-based Macs, you can start up your system in Windows XP should you choose to do so (and get your head examined after you do that).

If you’re interested in this for some reason, go to Apple’s website about this new technology. Remember, this is only for Macs that have the Intel chips built inside of them.

This is a VERY BIG DEAL. We’ll be watching this for sure.
