Well, believe it or not, Apple is officially endorsing dual-booting computers. This means that in future versions of Mac OS X, starting with 10.5 (Leopard), Intel-based Macintoshes will be able to boot up into Mac OS X or (hold onto your hat), Windows!
Today, Apple released a beta program called Boot Camp. With this program installed onto Intel-based Macs, you can start up your system in Windows XP should you choose to do so (and get your head examined after you do that).
If you’re interested in this for some reason, go to Apple’s website about this new technology. Remember, this is only for Macs that have the Intel chips built inside of them.
This is a VERY BIG DEAL. We’ll be watching this for sure.
