Sitting New Yorkers

Since moving to the Kensington area of Brooklyn, I've noticed that many people in this neighborhood take to sitting along Ocean Parkway. They make perfect subjects for me walking by with my trusty and stealthy iPhone. Originally posting these pix on Instagram, I titled the series "Sitting on Ocean." Not limiting myself to only photographing people along Ocean Parkway, I expanded the series to include other New Yorkers sitting, well, wherever the hell they want to sit. So, "Sitting on Ocean" is really a subset of "Sitting New Yorkers." We all have to sit, no?
