Found this corner scene at my old storage facility in uptown Brooklyn. The original color was pretty interesting but making it a black &#038; white added that little extra bit I was looking for in the texture department.

Here&#8217;s my grandpa, Sgt. Harry Ritchie, of the Connecticut State Police, taken sometime in the late 1930&#8217;s to early 1940&#8217;s. Around that time, he received a letter from &#8220;Machine Gun School&#8221; indicating that he received a passing grade on the Browning M2 .50 caliber machine gun.
Total bad ass.
Rock&#8217;n'roll Grandpa!
