Just found this from a photowalk I was on back in March. I really liked the subject, which was all this rope and stuff hanging on the front of a small tugboat. The color version was not at all interesting, but in B&W it really captured what I saw, which was mainly the textures.

Found this tucked away in a driveway in my neighborhood. Really beautiful from the front. Hope to see the whole car some day.

My buddy Jean found this shot of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Bluebell Wood that I licensed to the BBG a couple of years ago. Apparently it’s also on the sides of buses. If anyone sees it on a bus, please grab a shot for me.

This interview I shot (and edited) is with Thomas Witte, an artist who I met at a local coffee shop who does incredible work on paper. Basically, he’s taking photographs and enlarging them and cutting them out of paper. Of course, there’s much more to it than that. He’s in a show with other paper cut artists opening this week at the Christopher Henry Gallery in downtown NYC. If you’re in the hood, you should check it out.
