People at Inauguration look like so many ants
Pop Science is hosting a couple of awesome satellite views of yesterday’s inauguration. Funny how all the people in the above shot look like dirt at the base of the Washington Monument (no disrespect to those folks who were there).
War is Hell

It’s incredible what modern weapons will do to the earth and the human body. Although, and I hate to admit it, there’s one image of an explosion that is quite beautiful in my opinion. I think you’ll know the one I’m talking about. It reminds me about this image take from the Hubble.
