Oh, I was interviewed on a podcast last month…

Typical Mac User Podcast-1

I think I forgot to mention that I was interviewed by my friend Victor Cajiao last month (really, the end of October) for his Typical Shutterbug podcast. I got to share the limelight with Chase Jarvis too (he’s on at the beginning and I’m on the last half hour). Give it a listen as Victor and I have a great rapport. Here’s the link to the show.

The Gallery at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

bbggallery.png

Here’s what the show at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden looks like. My statement is on the right side wall there as well as Louis Buhle’s bio. With 44 images total, we managed to take up the full gallery as well as the a few walls on the other side. I didn’t think we’d need that much space, but it was barely enough.

Go see the show before it ends in January. Here’s the link to the info about the show.

Urban Dinosaurs

I think in a few million years, people will dig up this slab of concrete and be as puzzled about pigeons as we are about the dinosaurs. They’ll wonder what kind of creatures roamed with humans on an obscure avenue in what was once known as Brooklyn.

This Old House in Brooklyn

During my morning perambulations through the historic district of Prospect Park South, I came across this wonderful structure. I don’t know how old it is, but it’s most likely from the early 1900′s or late 1800′s, considering the other houses surrounding it. I wonder how hard it is to get windows that fit the round part of the building?
